Starting September 2025, the Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB), Greece’s leading business and economics University, will start offering its first undergraduate program entirely in English on the area of International Business & Technology. The program is targeted at high school students from abroad who are concluding secondary education and wish to spend four years in Greece earning a bachelor degree in international business and its related technologies. The program is interdisciplinary in nature, with all AUEB departments contributing courses, and will prepare students for a high impact career in any area of business around the world.

Why AUEB
The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) is the premier Economics and Business University in Greece and the third oldest University in the country. It’s three Schools, comprising eight Departments, offer state-of-the-art education in areas such as Economics, International Relations, Management, Accounting, Marketing, Informatics and Statistics. Conveniently located in downtown Athens, students have access to all the amenities that central Athens has to offer.
AUEB’s staff is of the highest quality, with many faculty members having studied and worked in leading Universities throughout the world. In addition, many Greek MPs and senior members of the Government traditionally have either studied or teach at AUEB. Life in Athens
The world knows Athens as the cradle of Western civilization: the city that gave birth to democracy. Our international students dscover Athens for what it really is: a vibrant metropolis teeming with culture where students form memories and relationships for life.
Athens is also full of exciting, fun and relaxing venues. The Psirri region, with its inner-city authenticity. The adjacent Monastiraki flea market, with its antique stores. Just a few steps further stands Ermou Street, the busiest shopping street of the city. North of Syntagma Square stands Kolonaki, the ever-trendy aristocratic neighborhood where visitors shop and have coffee. Designer boutiques and foreign houses to home-grown wonders, pedestrians’ streets and cafes are scattered all along Kolonaki.
During the summer time Athens comes alive with musical and theatrical events. Indoor and outdoor theatres provide numerous opportunities to catch a memorable performance. Outdoor cinemas and elegant roof-terrace restaurants are also a summer night must in Athens. Naturally, one should not forget the Greek islands, many of which are but a few hours away by boat and brimming with visitors from all over the world during summer.
In the end, Athens is so much more than just a city of historical interest. It is a truly multicultural, authentic metropolis with something for everyone. Our students come to Athens from all over the world; when they leave they are all Athenians.
Program Structure
The program lasts 4 years and bestows 240 ECTS. Taught entirely in English and on location in Athens, its students will be immersed in all aspects of international business and related technologies.
During the first two years students take courses on a plethora of areas ranging from management, accounting and economics to strategy, negotiations, statistics, AI and data analytics. During years 3 and 4 students specialize by following one of two streams depending on their interests: 1) Management, Leadership and Strategy or 2) Technology and Analytics. All students are required to complete an extensive internship near the end of the program, whose goal is to enable students to acquire practical business experience and develop their network outside academia.
Upon graduation all students, irrespectively of stream chosen, will be well versed in both areas of focus of the program, and ready for an impactful global career.
